This will be a fully virtual tournament. It will give us the opportunity to measure ourselves against teams from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Even though all teams will be scored by a combined affiliate appraisal team, Florida teams will only compete with other Florida teams for placement and advancement. We invite you to watch our closing ceremonies which will be available on utube March 28. Check our Florida DI webpage for more information as the date approaches. We have word of a lecture series for our Jacksonville area friends, happening next week. The Jacksonville Science Symposium is scheduled for February 21st - 26th at the Orange Park Lions Club 423 McIntosh Ave., Orange Park, FL 32073 The Jacksonville Science Symposium is an evening lectureship appropriate for the whole family or date night. Each evening features a different expert and a different field of study. Speakers engage the audience with their warm personalities and multimedia presentations for 50 minutes and then accept 10-15 minutes of questions from the audience. FREE admission!! Teams of students will learn about Artificial Intelligence, as they collaborate on a digital solution to their challenge. Thanks to the generous support of Lumen, the program will cover all registration fees, online training and a stipend of $500 US dollars per team for qualified organizations.
