I am sorry to let you know that the Florida Destination Imagination Board of
Directors has decided to suspend operations.  While we are very good at
organizing and conducting tournaments, none of our volunteers feel that we
have the expertise, energy or time to do the marketing that is needed to
make Florida DI a viable entity.  

Our friends at Destination Imagination, Inc. are working on exploring
options for continuing the program in Florida.  Meanwhile, you can still
access the program through  <https://www.destinationimagination.org/>
Destination Imagination.

 

We have all enjoyed our experience of the past 6 years of bringing DI to
Florida.  I personally, enjoyed meeting you at Maker Faires, STEAM Fests,
and our tournaments.  Seeing your children solve our challenges was
entertaining and energizing for me.  Even after being involved with DI for
over 20 years, I was often amazed at new, creative ways I saw them use
materials. 

 

We hope that Destination Imagination, Inc. will be able to bring the program
back to the state in the near future.  We continue to feel that it is a
wonderful educational program.
